The Beemster golf course embodies the Dutch term: “gezellig”. It is a cozy 9 hole par 32 course with a tight, links-style design and an open view of the surrounding fields.
It’s challenging but not very long (only 2107 meters) so accuracy is king here. The small-‘ish’ greens are nice and accomodating (Colin had his best putting round ever here, so there ya go) and and the fairways are in darn good condition considering it was 4 degrees C when we played!
Overall, with a fantastic restaurant and very friendly staff, The Beemster golf club is “a nice day out” that won’t leave you cursing your clubs.
