Ok, the KLM Open used to play here for the Dutch leg of the European tour. So.. yea.. bring your “A game” for sure. Course management and keeping it in the fairway are paramount here.
It’s located in the sand dunes and course is one of the few Dutch “real” links courses. The course with it’s 27 holes was built in 1910 so it’s also one of the oldest courses we have.
Lovely nature, we had a full size male deer appear out of nowhere here (antlers and all) and on another hole a smiling fox paced as as we walked the fairway.

Missing the fairway is punishing since you have a 50/50 chance of finding your ball in the dunes.
It is a awesome course though, challenging all facets of your game. An absolute must for any golfer who wants to find out if they’ve got the right stuff..
This course sits in the top 5 of our favorite courses in Holland!
